When I started my career in Travel, it was truly just a job, a way to pay my rent, take-out or dinners out, and the occasional camping trip. Here I am almost 30 years later, and so very badly missing my “job”. After almost 12 months since the Travel World shut down, I am inspired to take life at a slightly slower pace, and to enjoy each and every moment, experience, culture, sight, and smell that this beautiful world around us has to offer.
And yet, as my clients - aka friends start to slowly call, and inquire about travel, I find myself back in the Joy of my “job”. You see, for me, being a Travel Advisor is more than that “job” I started back in my early 20’s. It is an opportunity to provide those experiences, cultures, sights, and smells to each and every person I work with. It tingles ALL of the senses. It inspires ME to be a better person, and it IS what drives me. I am so thankful for the opportunity each day to help create Memories and Experiences for my clients that really do Last a Lifetime! So yes my “job” still pays my rent, and dinners out, and yes we still love camping, or these days Glamping; I am also so very ready to hop on that plane, take that cruise, and dance my toes in the seas, or tap my way through the cobble stoned streets of Europe!
