Another must-do was exploring the city’s gardens—lush, fragrant, and perfect for slowing down and appreciating the moment. Rooftop viewpoints from Iglesia del Salvador offered some of the best panoramas, especially in the warm glow of sunset. And of course, taking time to simply sit in a plaza, listening to laughter and music float through the air, was its own perfect kind of activity.
