Review Invoice and Confirmation:
Please review your Confirmation thoroughly and confirm that we have your names spelled properly and they are your Legal Names as reflected on your Passports and other documents. Please review the dates, components, and prices and are as you expected. If items need to be changed or corrected at a later date there may be costs and fees imposed by the travel providers that will be the responsibility of the travelers.
Please provide your Travel Advisor a copy of your Passport for our files. You can scan and email this, or simply take a picture with your phone and email to your Advisor.
Required Travel Documents and Citizenship:
Travelers are responsible for researching and obtaining any required travel documents for their specific trip and countries visited. These requirements change depending upon the citizenship of the traveler so let your Advisor know your citizenship and country of residence.
Canada Alert: If you are traveling to Canada, be aware that any person who has been convicted of any criminal offense, including a D.U.I. may be denied admission to Canada. For more information visit www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/inadmissibility or contact the Canadian Embassy at 202-682-1740.
We recommend that your Passport be valid for at least six months after the end of your trip, as many countries require this for admission. We are happy to advise and assist in obtaining Visas, medical requirements and other required documents but it is the responsibility of the traveler to make sure these are obtained prior to travel.
Travel and Safety Information:
To learn more about your destination, travel advisories, required documents and other information we highly recommend that you visit the US State Department website for valuable and helpful information. You can also enroll in the S.T.E.P. program at this site, notifying the State Department of your travel plans in case anything goes awry.
We highly recommend comprehensive Travel Insurance:
Travel Insurance provides protection for trip cancellation or interruption due to specified circumstances, as well as emergency medical expense, evacuation, baggage loss, and other coverages. Please ask your Advisor if you have questions or would like a quote for insurance. If you decline Travel Insurance your Advisor will ask for a waiver to be signed so that we know you do not want to purchase this protection.
Important Airline Information:
When purchasing your airline tickets through the cruise line or tour operator we do not have any control over the flights that are confirmed for your vacation. Many operators do have a custom air option for a fee, that will allow you to choose your flights in advance. If you are interested in this option please ask your Advisor about this program, and if it is available for your specific trip. We will do our best to obtain seat assignments for your flights, but many times they are not available until check-in, or for your specific fare type. In those cases, we are unable to assign your seats for you in advance.
If you purchase your own airline tickets please send a copy of your confirmation to your Advisor to put in your file. This helps us provide you with superior service in case you need our assistance while traveling. We recommend that you reconfirm your flights 72 hours and again at 24 hours prior to your flight, in case there have been any schedule changes.
Legendary World acts only as the agent for the passenger/client in regard to travel. This includes railroad, motor coach, cruise ship, hotel, airplane, and/or car transportation. We assume no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be incurred by the company or persons engaged in conveying the group and its arrangements. We accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in any or all of the travel package including but not limited to, sickness, weather, strike, war, quarantine or any other causes. All such losses or expenses will be borne by the passenger and we highly recommend travel insurance to protect against covered losses.
Cancellation & Change Fees
Legendary World reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee for our professional services, in addition to the cancellation fees charged by the travel provider. Legendary World will charge a $100.00 fee per canceled vacation.
